(Audio) Scott County USD 466 Superintendent talks about new facilities
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–On Tuesday night, superintendent of Schools for USD 466 Jamie Rumford appeared on the halftime of the girls game between Scott City and Goodland to talk about the newest changes to facilities in the school district. Tuesday’s games were played in the brand new Scott Community Events Center at the middle school. This, and along with additional classrooms and remodeled classrooms, were part of a $25 million bond passed by voters in November of 2017.
The public can tour the renovated Scott City Middle School this Friday, beginning at 3:45, and are invited to stay for Scott City’s basketball games with Colby. Admission is free, thanks to American Implement.
