Audio: K-State Coach Bill Snyder And Player Reaction After North Texas Win
Manhattan, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–It wasn’t their best effort, nor was it their best game played through the first three games, but the Kansas State Wildcats were able to pull away in the second half against the upset-minded North Texas Mean Green in a 35-21 win. After North Texas scored first with four minutes remaining to make it 7-0 Mean Green. That lead was gone 13 seconds later, thanks to a 96-yard kickoff return by Tyler Lockett. North Texas made it 14-13 in the third quarter on their opening drive, but missed the extra point.
