Arrest Made in Fatality Hit and Run
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Police have taken into custody the man accused of being responsible for a fatality hit and run accident of 80 year old Maria Leonarda Macias Ubiarco. The woman was walking in front of the 700 block of West Kansas Avenue when she was struck Saturday night at 6:45.
62 year old Rafael Lopez has been booked into the Finney County jail and will face charges for leaving the scene of a fatality accident, not providing information and interference with law enforcement.
