Arizona sends Rockies to third straight loss
Phoenix, Ariz. (westernkansasnews.com)–Michael Cuddyer’s two solo home runs were the only runs scored by the Colorado Rockies, as they fell 6-2 to the Arizona Diamondbacks Tuesday night. Starter Edwar Cabrera gave up two runs in three and a third innings pitched, and took the loss. The Diamondbacks scored four of their six runs in the fourth and fifth innings. Colorado is now a season-worst 24 games under .500 at 36-60, and have lost three straight. The series finale is tonight, as Jeff Francis gets the start for the Rockies, while Arizona is projected to start Trevor Cahill in an 8:40 central time start at Chase Field in Phoenix.
