Area Teams In State Volleyball Today
Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Three southwest Kansas area teams will be competing in their respective state volleyball tournaments Friday and Saturday. Kiowa County is the third seed, and will begin competition at 11 am today in Emporia. In Hays, Bucklin is the seventh seed in the Class 1A-Division I state tournament. Their first match begins this afternoon at 3:30. Also in Hays, Ingalls will have the early session in the Class 1A-Division II state tournament. They are the fourth seed and will begin their play at 9:30 this morning. Each classification has pool play on Friday in groups of four. The top two in each pool advance to the semi-final round on Saturday.
