Another Legal Hurdle For Obamacare
Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Its another challenge to the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare that has made it to the US Supreme Court. Kansas and 33 other states had the federal government set up healthcare exchanges on the marketplace instead of setting up their own state exchange. The question Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt poses is who should legally receives these subsidies.
If the states win would that destroy the law?
Estimates are up to 8 million people could be affected by the decision. We will hear the announcement from the high court in June.
