Another Avenue of Learning for Your Child
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Libraries will always have books, but they are also becoming centers for learning. Tuesday National Coordinator Kathleen Deerr designated Dodge City Public Library as a Family Place Library.
The goal is to have play areas and activities that develop a baby’s cognitive abilities all while strengthening a bond between the parent and child.
Dodge City joins a network of 500 that have been designated a Family Place Library.
