Angel F. Seijas

Angel F. Seijas, 68 died Thursday, December 10, 2015 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born August 11, 1947 in Juarez, Mexico the son of Jose M. & Ada M. (Sanchez) Seijas.
Angel lived and grew up in Mexico. He moved to Garden City in 1991 and has lived in Garden City since. He married Juana Hermosillo. Angel worked for many years at Tyson. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. Angel enjoyed playing the lottery, going to movies and listening to music.
Survivors include five children Myrna I. Seijas deCerpa of El Paso, Texas, Martha Guevara of Garden City, Kansas, Marcos A. Hermosillo of Guymon, Oklahoma, Jose L. Seijas of Garden City, Kansas, and Ada S. Craig of Garden City, Kansas; 7 grandsons; and 7 great granddaughters. Angel is preceded in death by his parents; a son Angel Seijas Rojas; and a sister Sonia S. Montealegre.
A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15 also at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Charles Seiwert as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday all at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
