Amy Wilkerson Memorial Dinner set for Saturday
Dodge City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Saturday the Dodge City Kiwanis Club will hold their 15th Annual Amy Wilkerson Memorial Spaghetti Dinner.
The event is held in memory of Amy Wilkerson, who lost her long battle with cancer. Wilkerson is the deceased daughter of Kiwanis member Ray Wilkerson. The event is to help families that have children with devastating illnesses. Ray Wilkerson on why he started the event.
In the past 14 years the event has raised over $116,000 and given support to 136 families. The Dinner is a free will donation and will also feature a raffle and silent auction with over 150 items to auction off.
The 15th annual Amy Wilkerson Memorial Spaghetti dinner is Saturday from 5 to 7 at Knights of Columbus Hall at 800 West Frontview St. For more info call Ray Wilkerson at 430-0657.
