Ag Taking Fight to Wire on Right of Waters Regulations
(westernkansasnews.com) Clarity of regulations or an overreach of the federal government? The National Corn Growers Association and other ag related organizations are making their final push to stop the Environmental Protection Agency’s implementation for Rights of Water. President of the NGCA Chip Bolling says it would take very little for farmers to break the law on their own property.
As for the punishments?
The new rules are scheduled to take effect August 28th. Bolling has noticed something odd about the people in charge of implementing these new rules.
Bolling says the corps even wants their logo removed from explaining the new rules.
