AG Schmidt: Erskin Barred From Medical Service in State of Kansas

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A longtime physicians assistant in Garden City is now permanently banned from providing medical services in the state of Kansas. State Attorney General Derek Schmidt made the announcement in regards to Joel Erskin a part owner and operator of Renovo Medical and University Medical LLC.

The accusations against Erskin included failing to tell patients that botox purchased from overseas suppliers was not approved for use in the US and for misrepresenting himself as a doctor to patients and operated without the proper supervision. Erskin has already pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor related to his actions.
