Abilene wins home tournament, Scott City runner-up

Abilene, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Abilene Cowboy wrestling team picked up a tournament win on Saturday by taking their own tournament in the final competition before the Christmas break.

The Cowboys racked up 235.5 points, while defending champion Scott City was second and Silver Lake took third.

Scott City would take home two individual champions, as Matthew Wheeler was the champion at 150 pounds and Blaze Gossman would win at 165. Both wrestlers have won their first three tournaments of the season.
