U.S. Highway 83 Business/South Main Street bridge in Garden City now open to traffic

The U.S. Highway 83 Business/South Main Street bridge in Garden City is now open to traffic.
This bridge includes a pedestrian walking path that is currently under construction. The sidewalk is closed to public access and marked with signs and cones to indicate the closure. The walking path is expected to be completed by Christmas, weather permitting.
Reece Construction Company, Inc. of Newton is the contractor on this $9.2 million project
