Trail Street construction mill & inlay repairs begin Wednesday

Dodge City, Kan.–Starting Wednesday, a section of Trail Street between the Love’s Truck Stop driveway and Underpass Road will undergo a mill and inlay process, as shown in the map below. The construction will be completed in phases, one lane at a time, and is expected to last four days, excluding the placement of permanent markings. Temporary markings will guide traffic during this period. To minimize inconvenience, construction crews will reduce activity during shift changes and ensure entryways remain accessible for trucks delivering cargo.

During this time, the public is asked to be mindful of construction zones and exercise extra caution around equipment and newly placed asphalt. Adhering to traffic control measures is crucial for everyone’s safety.
