Several arrested in cocaine distribution case

Hamilton County, Kan.–The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrests of eight individuals after a lengthy investigation.

Due to the extent of this case, no press releases were published until all court proceedings were finalized on Wednesday, October 9. During the lengthy course of the investigation, over half a pound of cocaine, 51.05 grams of methamphetamine, and 40 units of LSD laced with cocaine were seized. The Kansas Department of Revenue issued Tax Warrants totaling $99,246.00, $1400, and 3 vehicles were forfeited. A collaborative effort between the Greeley County Sheriff’s Office, Stanton County Sheriff’s Office, Kearny County Sheriff’s Office, Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Ulysses Police Department, and the Kansas Department of Revenue made this possible.

Arrested were Juan Aleman Guillen of Johnson City, Kansas, and was convicted of two counts of Distribution of Opiates, Orvin Gabarrete-Urea of Syracuse, Kansas and was transferred to Federal Authorities, Loy Maravilla of Syracuse, Kansas and was convicted of Distribution of Cocaine, Javier Ramos of Syracuse, Kansas who was convicted of Distribution of Cocaine and transferred to Federal Authorities, Jorge Luna of Syracuse, Kansas and was entered into Diversion Agreement for Distribution of Cocaine, Jose Manuel Valle-Chavez of Deerfield, Kansas, who was transferred to Federal Authorities, Ornelas Mario Solano of Syracuse, Kansas and was transferred to Federal Authorties, and Izias Edward Rivera of Ulysses, Kansas, and was convicted of Distribution of Cocaine and sentenced to 49 months in Kandsas Department Of Corrections.
