New Mexico man dies in Edwards County accident
Edwards County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A New Mexico man was died in a two-vehicle accident just after 6:30 am Monday morning in Edwards County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Toyota Camary driven by 41-year-old Ronald R. Crabb of Raton, New Mexico, was eastbound on U.S. Highway 50 five miles east of the U.S. 183 junction, when he went left of center and struck a westbound 2022 Peterbilt semi driven by 36-year-old Trenton C Winter of Mount Hope.
Crabb was pronounced dead at the scene, and was transported to McKillip Funeral Home. Winter was uninjured in the accident. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP report.
