MANHATTAN, Kan. – The eyes of the nation will be on Bill Snyder Family Stadium on Friday, September 13, as FOX Sports has announced that Kansas State’s non-conference matchup with Arizona will kick off at 7 p.m. as the inaugural game of the new FOX College Football Friday television package.

This will be Kansas State’s first home weeknight game since playing on a Thursday night in 2015, while it is the Wildcats’ first Friday home game since 2013.

The non-conference matchup against new Big 12 foe Arizona is the first game of a previously scheduled non-conference series that was announced in 2016. It is the eighth meeting all-time between the two Wildcats but the first in Manhattan, and the schools have not met on the gridiron since a contest in Tucson in 1978.

Announced earlier this year, FOX College Football Friday is a dedicated primetime window showcasing elite college football Friday nights on FOX throughout the fall. The new package will lead off FOX Sports’ unrivaled weekend football lineup – followed by college football’s most-watched window, Big Noon Saturday.

The Wildcats enter the 2024 season with a current streak of three eight-plus win seasons, the only team in the Big 12 and one of only 11 Power 4 squads to claim that feat. They finished the 2023 campaign ranked No. 18 in the Associated Press Top 25, No. 19 in the AFCA Coaches Poll and No. 25 in the College Football Playoff Top 25 after registering a 9-4 record.
