Norton Leads 3-2-1A Regional After Day One; Kough in Finals
Norton, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Norton Blue Jays lead the 3-2-1A Regional Wrestling Tournament after Day one in Norton. It turned out to be a tough ending to the day for Scott City and Leoti, who pushed eight wrestlers combined into the semi-finals, but managed only one finalist and state qualifier. Scott City’s Alex Kough so far is lone area qualifier at 126 pounds. Many wrestlers from both teams are still alive, as day two continues at 11 am, with two reports an hour on Mix 94.
