Three arrested in aggravated assault case in Garden City
Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Garden City Police arrested three individuals for their involvement in an aggravated assault that occurred Sunday.
Facing charges from the incident are 25-year-old Jazmin Loya, 24-year-old Jesus Loya, and 24-year-old Jose Bricullett.
On Sunday, Officers were dispatched to 917 Herald Avenue (J&J Mobile Mechanic) for a possible aggravated assault. The investigation revealed that four juveniles attempted to pull a prank on an employee. After the prank, the employee and two other staff allegedly confronted the juveniles with firearms, took them into the business and held them at gunpoint. The employees also allegedly took personal belongings of the juveniles and made several threats before letting them go. Through further investigation, Jesus Loya, Jazmin Loya, and Bricullett were identified as suspects.
On Monday, Jazmin Loya and Bricullett were arrested and lodged in the Finney County Jail for Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery, Criminal Threat, and Aggravated Battery.
On Tuesday, Jesus Loya was arrested and lodged in the Finney County Jail for Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery, Criminal Threat, Aggravated Battery, and Aggravated Intimidation of a Witness or Victim.
There were no injuries from the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
