Two arrested in Garden City on drug charges

Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Garden City Police arrested two individuals on drug charges following an incident Monday night.

According to the release, 32-year-old Ricardo Galvez-Aguayo and 22-year-old Karylee Sanchez face charges from the investigation.
 
Around 7:15 p.m. Monday night Officers responded to 110 W. Kansas Avenue (Itokos Grill), where two individuals were allegedly smoking drugs in the parking lot. Officers made contact with Galvez-Aguayo and Sanchez and observed evidence of drug activity. During the investigation, Galvez-Aguayo became uncooperative with Officers before being taken into custody. Sanchez was taken into custody without incident. Officers were also treated for minor injuries sustained from the incident.
 
Galvez-Aguayo was lodged in the Finney County Jail for Distribution of Controlled Substances, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, multiple counts of Battery LEO, and Interference LEO.
 
Sanchez was lodged in the Finney County Jail for Distribution of Controlled Substances and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
