Area state basketball brackets

State basketball begins on Wednesday across the state of Kansas. Several schools from the area will be represented at the state level.

In Class 4A, the Hugoton Eagle boys will look to defend their state title. The Wichita County Girls in Class 2A will be making a second straight appearance. Both South Gray’s boys & girls will be in Colby for the Class 1A, DI State Tournament, while Buckin’s boys & girls, as well as the Dighton boys will compete in the Class 1A, DII in Great Bend.
