GCCC Coaches Show, February 15
GARDEN CITY, Kan. – Basketball season has been in the heat of battle throughout the last month. This week’s show took a step away from the hardwood to other sports with big weeks earlier this month.
The Garden City Community College Coaches Show returned to Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom on Thursday night. Broncbusters’ baseball is gearing towards its home opener, while football made huge waves earlier this month.
Baseball brothers Nick and Brett Barber led off Thursday night. The two talked about their competitive nature with each other, also talking about their start to the season.
Opening Day for NCAA Baseball is Friday. Former Northwestern State pitcher, and Broncbusters baseball head coach, Josh Oller joined to talk about some of his memorable experiences in division one and his team’s first seven games of the 2024 campaign.
Football head coach Kiyoshi Harris announced his first National Signing Day class as head coach at Garden City. Harris wrapped up the show to talk about his recruiting trail throughout Kansas.
