Scott City wrestling splits duals with Hoxie

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–On their home mat on Friday, the Scott City Beaver wrestling teams hosted Hoxie in a dual, leading into Saturday’s Scott City Classic.

The Lady Beavers would drop just one match out of three head-to-head matches, and won by several forfeits in a 66-6 win, while the Hoxie Indian boys would best the Beavers 43-33. It was a dual on the boys side that saw the Indians win seven of the 13 head-to-head matches. 

The 39th Annual Scott City Wrestling Classic will take place at 9:30 am Saturday morning.
