GCCC Coach’s Show, 10/5

GARDEN CITY, KS. –

The Garden City Community College Coach’s Show returned for the first time in October from Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom on Thursday night.

Garden City Volleyball was fresh off winning two matches on back-to-back nights against fierce rivals, Dodge City. Head coach Patrick Hiltz started the show talking about what it took for the Broncbusters to win consecutive five-set matchups with the Conquistadors.

Soccer is into its final month of the season as well. Head coach Corey Bryant joined in to talk about the importance of the women’s squad getting back to full strength and the men’s team changing formations inside the final 10 matches.

Finally, football travels to Independence to take on the Pirates in week seven. Football coach Tom Minnick joined to talk about how his team is planning to overcome their recent turnovers, including a new quarterback getting the start this weekend.
