Overturned semi accident injures one in Finney County

Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Ulysses man was injured after his semi truck and trailer overturned, just before 2 pm Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Peterbuilt driven by 49-year-ld Roman R. Hagerman of Ulysses was traveling eastbound on Kansas Avenue and was attempting to make a left onto Jennie Barker Road, when the semi and trailer overturned onto its passenger side and came to a stop partially on Mary Street and in the east ditch. 

Hagerman was taken to St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City for suspected serious injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt, according to the KHP report.
