GCCC Coach’s Show, 9/21
GARDEN CITY, KS. – The Garden City Community College Coach’s Show returned live from Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom on Thursday night.
Broncbusters football is back in action on Saturday for a Kansas Jayhawk Conference clash against the Highland Scotties. Tight end Ajou Ajou joined the show to discuss his journey across North America, his experiences at Clemson and South Florida, and his bond with some of his new teammates.
Broncbusters volleyball head coach Patrick Hiltz joined the show to talk about his team’s strong month of September, overcoming adversity in a wide-open Jayhawk Conference. The Broncbusters are currently on their longest remaining homestand of the season, starting with a win in straight sets against Otero.
Finally, football head coach Tom Minnick rejoined the show to talk about some of his team’s young standouts from week four’s win over Gordon’s Fine Arts & Sports Academy, and the process of recruiting local high school products, including former Garden City Buffaloes Terrell Elliott and Jerry Arteaga.
Thank you to Ajou Ajou and coaches Hiltz and Minnick for joining in this week. As always, a special thank you to Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom for their great hospitality.
