Scott City man arrested following disturbance call
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Scott City man was arrested Tuesday night after a disturbance call.
At around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday night, the Scott City Police Department and Scott County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 500 block of east 7th for a disturbance. During the investigation it was discovered that the suspect had fled prior to law enforcement arrival.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m. the suspect was located at a different residence in Scott City. Kristofer Eugene Lauber, 40, of Scott City was arrested for the following charges: Criminal Threat, Criminal Threat against a Law Enforcement Officer, Criminal Damage, and Disorderly Conduct.
Lauber was transported to the Scott County Jail and the case has been referred to the Scott County Attorney for prosecution.
