Scott City takes GWAC Tennis title
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–On a beautiful Monday in Scott City, the Great West Activities Conference Tennis Tournament took place at Scott City Middle School, hosted by Colby. It was a dominant performance by the Beaver tennis team, as they were able to take the league title, as they swept the top spots.
Goodland finished second and Cimarron was third, while Colby and Ulysses tied for fourth.
Regional competition for the Class 3-2-1A schools will be on Thursday and Friday in WaKeeney, while Ulysses heads to the 4A, Winfield regional on Friday.
