Scott City wins Great Bend Tennis Invite; Garden City 2nd, Dodge City 4th

Great Bend, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Saturday saw three area schools make their way to Great Bend for the Great Bend Tennis Invitational, and the schools would have a good showing.
Scott City would win the meet with 55 points, followed by Garden City with 47 and Hays was third with 46 points. Dodge City placed fourth as a team with 45 points.
For Dodge City, they were led by No. 1 Singles player Oscar Alvarado, who finished in first place. No. 2 Doubles team of Daniel Velasquez/Adam Romero placed second, No. 1 Doubles team of Marcel Perez/Casey Cervantes was fifth, and Saul Martinez at No. 2 Singles was sixth.
Garden City’s No. 1 Doubles team of Logan Morren/Colin Kleysteuber was 1st, followed by a third place showing at No. 2 Singles by Carson Kraus, while the No. 2 Doubles team of Tom Tran/Ashton Palmer, and the No. 1 Singles player Joshua Negron finished in sixth place.
Scott City saw the No. 2 Doubles team of Dante Franco/Ayden Presson win the meet, while No. 1 Doubles team of Houston Frank/ Sage Stoecklein was second. Dylan Duff at No. 1 Singles finished in third and Kade Bonville at No. 2 Singles was fourth.
