Conq women blow out Bethany JV
DODGE CITY–Shakara Anderson scored a career high 21 points and the Dodge City offense exploded on outmatched Bethany JV for a 101-25 wire-to-wire win at the Student Events Center Tuesday.
The Conqs began the game on a 20-2 run. They racked up 62 points in the paint and turned 39 Swede turnovers into 34 points.
Five women reached double figures for Dodge City. Jada Burton stood out with a double-double, notching 11 points and 10 assists.
Efficient offense was a theme all night, with Dodge City assisting on 32 of their 43 made field goals. They also won the battle of the boards 43-19.
The Conquistadors improve to 5-1 with the win.
Dodge City returns to action Saturday when they travel to Cowley. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT.
