Scott City Repeats As Scott City Wrestling Classic Champions
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The No. 1 team in Class 3-2-1A repeated as champions of the 30th Annual Scott City Wrestling Classic Saturday at Scott Community High School. They were able to hold off a good Hoxie team, who is ranked N0. 5 in Class 3-2-1A, by 24.5 points. Ulysses finished in third place. The Fastest Pin award went to Gage Younger of Ellis, who had a 14-second fall in the 152 pound weight division. Calvin Ochs claimed the Outstanding Wrestler award, after winning the 160 pound class.
