Scott City girls tennis edges Colby for team title
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–On a hot and windy Monday, nine teams took part in the Scott City Invitational tennis meet, held at Scott City Middle School. It was a competitive meet that saw Scott City hold court at home, edging Colby by one point for the team title. Greeley County was fifth.
While the Lady Beavers won the meet, they picked up one first place finish. That was from senior Haileigh Hickert, who took the No. 2 Singles title.
