Scott City girls golf finishes sixth at Colby Invitational
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Facing tough 3-2-1A competition, the Scott City girls golf team finished sixth place on Monday at the Colby Invitational, held at Meadow Lake Golf Course.
Colby won the meet with a team score of 376, Cimarron was second with a score of 425 and Goodland shot a 436 as a team and finished third. Scott City had a team score of 472.
Paige Prewit led Scott City on the course, with an 18-hole score of 111, and tied for 17th, while Olivia Wagner and Tori Ford had a round of 119, Hannah Faurot shot a 123, Brylie Bennet a 124, and Judie Wiebe recorded a round of 133.
Scott City will return to the course on Thursday, as they will host their own invitational.
