Hoxie wrestling outduels Scott City

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Wrestling in a makeup from January 17, former NWKL members Hoxie and Scott City met up for a dual on Friday night at the Scott Community Event Center, that featured a battle of top five teams in their classifications. The Indians are ranked No. 1 in Class 321A, while Scott City enters at No. 4 in Class 4A. In the end, it would be Hoxie that would pick up the 48-27 win.

The Indians would win eight of the head-to-head matchups, while the Beavers won just three. There were three forfeits, two for Scott City.

Scott City drops to 1-1 this season in duals, and will compete at the GWAC Tournament on Saturday in Goodland.
