Lee Richardson Zoo announces special hours for this week

GARDEN CITY, Kan. — The Lee Richardson Zoo vehicle entrance will close at 4:00 pm and the zoo will close at 5:00 pm Thursday, May 30, in preparation for a Leadership Kansas event which will be held that evening.

The zoo will reopen to the public Friday, May 31, at 8:00 am.

The Zoo will open to pedestrians only (no vehicle traffic) on Saturday, June 1 for Zoobalee, put on by GCHS Peak Performance Project, which will be held on the West Green.

The zoo will reopen to vehicles Sunday, June 2, at 8:00 am.
