GCHS District Robotics Teams Place At State Competition

There were 10 teams from Garden City Public Schools that competed at the robotics state competition on March 9th in Wichita, Kansas. There were 20 teams from around the state that participated in the competition.
The schools that received awards include: Jennie Barker Elementary School took home the Elementary Excellence, Teamwork champion, and Skills champion awards. Charles Stones Intermediate Center won the Design award and took 5th place in the Teamwork champion award. Kenneth Henderson Middle School grabbed the Middle School Excellence and Teamwork champion awards. All three schools qualified for the Worlds Competition which will be held in Louisville, Kentucky.
