Red Demon soccer blanks East in Titan Classic opener
Wichita, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The Dodge City High School beat Wichita East Monday 3-0 in the opening round of the Titan Classic at Wichita South.
The Red Demons jumped on East early in the first half with two goals from Josue Castillo, one of them assisted by Diego Olivares. Dodge City took the 2-0 lead to halftime. The Red Demons then increased the lead early in the second half on a floater by Alan Lopez to make the score 3-0.
Dodge City has shutout their first three opponents this season. The Red Demons will play in the semifinals on Thursday at 6 p.m. against the winner of Manhattan and Derby.
