Scott City tennis repeats as tournament champions
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The third time was the charm for the Scott City Invitational on Monday afternoon. The first time it had been postponed was due to rain, the second time was due to bitterly cold temperatures and wind. Despite a strong south wind, the meet was held. Three of the teams will also see each other at regionals, which was big in the fact that seeds were up for grabs. In the end, Scott City won the meet, holding off Colby and Meade.
Scott City will be at the Class 3-2-1A Regional at South Barber High School in Kiowa on Friday. Colby and Meade will also be there.
