Buffalo soccer can’t break through in OT
Garden City, KS-80 minutes and nothing. Two overtimes, still scoreless.
And that’s how it stayed.
Garden City watched their six-match winning streak come to an end during a blustery night at Buffalo Stadium, working to a 0-0 draw with Dodge City in double overtime.
“We didn’t have a lot of energy, but that has a lot do with how many games we’ve played over the last 10 days,” Garden City assistant coach Josue Negron said.
The Buffalo defense was solid again, limiting Dodge City to just two shots. But while Garden City got 13 attempts, Red Demons goalie Angie Ojeda stopped seven of them, keeping the score tied.
