Meade Co. Accident injures one
Meade County, KS(westernkansasnews.com) A two vehicle accident in Meade County Thursday night sent one to the hospital for injuries.
Just before 6 p.m. on U54 about a mile west of Fowler. Vehicle one was eastbound on U54, Vehicle two was westbound on U54. Vehicle one attempted to pass two other vehicles, but did not have sufficient clearance to do so. Vehicle two attempted to go toward the shoulder to avoid hitting vehicle one and struck the trailer on vehicle one on the drivers side.
The driver of vehicle two, Menno Friesen, 92, of Meade was taken to Meade District Hospital for his injuries.
