Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Garden City High School hosted Trinity Academy in the opening night of the Clarion Inn Roundball Classic. The Lady Buffaloes picked up their first win of the season as they beat Trinity 41-33.
Garden City(1-3) trailed at the half 23-22, but outscored the lady knights 13-6 in the third quarter to pull ahead for good. Senior Josie Calzonetti outscored Trinity(1-1) herself in the fourth quarter 6-4.
