Lady Buffalo All WAC Volleyball Setter Casey Curran Signs at Iowa Western-Audio
Garden City, KS (www.westernkansasnews.com) – Iowa Western Community College near Council Bluffs Iowa currently ranked #4 in the nation, has signed Garden City High School senior setter Casey Curran to a letter of intent to play Volleyball for the Lady Reivers next year. Reiver Coach Darrin McBroom says they are pleased to sign Curran, as they discovered Casey at the Power League Qualifier last summer when she played for the Heartland Junior Club Volleyball team based out of Wichita. Curran, a setter and middle hitter and blocker for the Lady Buffaloes at Garden City has been selected to the Western Athletic Conference first team each of the last two years and concludes a stellar career at Garden City, she has led the Lady Buffs in kills and blocks each of the last two years. The Lady Buffs have the won the WAC the last two years and just missed each of those seasons to make it to the 6A State Tournament.
