WKCF Donation Match Day is Tuesday
Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Tuesday November 28 is Match Day. The Western Kansas Community Foundation has a $50,000 match pool for qualifying donations to the 13 non-profit organizations that are participating.
Credit Cards, cash and checks will be accepted and the donations are tax-deductible. Donations that can be matched range from $20 to $2,000.
Exec Director for the Community Foundation Conny Bogaard explains how the matches work.
The 13 non-profits eligible for matching donations are: Finney County United Way, Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo, Garden City Arts, Garden City Family YMCA, Emmaus House, Finney County Community Health Coalition, Finney County Historical Society, Finney County Humane Society, Finney County Public Library High Plains Public Radio, Miles of Smiles, Russell Child Development Center, and St. Catherine Hospital’s Benincasa Hospitality House.
Donations will be taken at the Western Kansas Community Foundation office at 402 N Main St between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday. For additional information call 271-9484 or go to wkcf.org.
