GCHS Track Teams dominate their Buffalo Invitational

It was total domination for the Garden City Buffalo Track and Field teams in their own Buffalo Invitational on Tuesday at Memorial Stadium, as the Lady Buffs blew away the 8 team field by 68 points with a total of 170.33, Liberal 2nd with 102, Colby was 3rd followed by Ulysses, Dodge City, Scott City, Holcomb and Lamar Colorado. On the boys side Garden City took the team title with 139 followed by Liberal, Dodge City, Ulysses, Scott City, Holcomb, Colby and Lamar, Colorado. It was a great day for a track meet and the Buffalo athletes took advantage of it to record several personal records on the day. The Lady Buffs collected their third win on the season by producing three individual and three relay champions, plus 28 top six finishes on the day. For the Buffalo boys, it was one individual winner and two relay champions, along with 14 top six placers that garnered enough points to give the Buff boys their second top hareware on the season.
