Jetmore man killed in Kismet accident
Kismet, KS(westernkansasnews.com) 19 year old Clayton Klein of Jetmore was killed in a three vehicle accident in Seward County Saturday afternoon.
Just after 3 p.m. on U54 mile marker 22.6 or U54 and Delaware in Kismet. Vehicle 2 was Eastbound on U54 slowing down to turn left onto Delaware into Kismet. Vehicle 1 failed to yield to Vehicle 2 that was slowing and rear ended Vehicle 2. After the impact, Vehicle 1 spun across the center lane and was struck by Vehicle 3, a semi Westbound on U54. Vehicle 1 came to rest in the Westbound ditch. Vehicle 2 came to rest on the Eastbound shoulder. Vehicle 3 came to rest in a field East of U54 Highway.
