Garden City residents injured in one car accident
Hodgeman County, KS(westernkansasnews.com) A one car accident in Hodgeman county Wednesday evening injured two Garden City residents. The accident occurred just before 6 on Hodgeman County rd 224, quarter mile south of K156’s milemarker 61.8 or 6 miles east of Jetmore.
The vehicle was northbound on county road 224 when the driver swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle struck the deer and lost control, going off the bridge on the east side and into the dry creek bed.
The driver 58 year old Tanya Gonzalez and her passenger 78 year old Iola Battles were taken to Hodgeman county health center with possible injuries.
