Garden City people trying to help hurricane victims
Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Buruca Trucking Services in Garden City is pitching in to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.
The plan is to take a trailer full of supplies down to the victims in Texas on Saturday morning, but they need donations to fill up the trailer.
The items requested for donation are water, socks, shoes, blankets, towels, toys, children and adult diapers, clothing, and toiletries.
Donations can be dropped off today through friday from 10 a.m until 6 p.m. at Buruca Trucking Services at 106 North 9th Street. It’s at the old Black Hills Utility Building. You can reach them by phone at 640-8997.
