Finney Co. Commissioners set 2018 budget

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The Finney County Commissioners held a meeting Monday Morning. The commission approved the budget for 2018.

The tax levy will be 46.74 mills or $22.10 million. The budget is an increase over last year’s $18.9 million because the county used reserves to help out in 2017. 2018 is close to the same as the budget in 2016. Finney County Commissioner Dr. Bill Clifford on what’s in the budget.

The commissioners also worked on the sewer budget.
