Garden City United Way Stuff The Bus
Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The Garden City United Way is putting on Stuff the Bus 2017 for students in need.
The collection days are Saturday July 15 and Sunday July 16 with the distribution backpacks coming on August 2. Drop off sites will be at Walmart, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Target and the East and West Dillons.
The United Way is still in need of about 75 backpacks for this year’s event. Specifically they could use some heavier backpacks for older kids.
In 2016 over 1,500 backpacks were distributed to children in need so they could start the school year off with the supplies they need.
If you would like to donate a backpack or make a monetary donation you can drop them off at the Finney County United Way at 1509 E. Fulton Terrace or mail them to FCUW P.O. Box 1268 Garden City, KS.
