Dianne LaVerne (Thomas) Robinson
Dianne LaVerne (Thomas) Robinson, 64, passed away on May 18, 2017, at her son’s home.
She was born December 21, 1952 at Wichita, Kansas.
Dianne was a housing manager for the North High Rise Apartments and was an outpatient cook for New Chance. She was known as Mamma D. or grandma Dianne to everyone. Diane was very spunky and always had a smile of her face. She enjoyed cooking, going to sporting events that her grandchildren were involved in, hosting parties, shopping and loved all her grandchildren.
Dianne is survived by son, John Johnson and wife Jaime, Dodge City, Kansas; 2 sisters, Marsh Price, Grand Prairie, Texas, Sheryl Lewis and husband Johnny Ray Lewis, Wichita, Kansas; 2 brothers, Gaylen Buster Jackson, Wichita, Kansas, Derek Dusey Jackson and wife Erica, Ft. Worth, Texas; 7 grandchildren, Jaide, Janae, Lanae, Navy, Faith, John Jr. and Camree.
She was preceded in death by her mother, LaBerte Baldtrip, 2 brothers, Larry Jackson and Leland Jackson.
Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel with Preacher Johnny Ray Lewis officiating. Book signing will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Wednesday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel. There will no viewing as cremation has taken place.
